Q: My three year old daughter and I are transitioning to a vegan diet. I'm curious about B12 supplements for toddlers - how much is required and how often? A B12 vitamin gummie would be the easiest for her to take, but I can't seem to find them online. Any advice for where I could source vegan B12 gummies for toddlers in Australia? - Caring Parent

Dear Caring Parent,

Thanks for your question. I am not a nutritionist so can't give you any concrete info on dosages for toddlers but there are B12 drops that might work really well for your daughter. I found some berry flavor drops on iherb here. I am sure there are some others out there. You will need to check the packaging for dosage and perhaps talk to your paediatrician. You can find out more about B12 in our article What every vegan should know about B12.
