Let's get together and give back to the community by taking care of mother earth. This is a wonderful event to meet new people, make new friends and do something meaningful all at same time. Tree planting is a great family day out in nature. The representatives from Council of Ryde provide seedlings of native Australian trees and shrubs. Kids and adults alike can learn about native Australian flora. Volunteers will be working in groups and tasks include: clearing land, digging, planting, watering. If you have never done tree planting before, then I highly recommend you to join, it's a fun activity and you learn a lot!
