This tour will explore the unique flora and fauna in and around the National Parks and Forest Reserves around the Gold Coast Hinterland. About the area: The World Heritage Listed Rainforests we will visit form part of the ancient remnant Gondwanan forests located in a caldera of a much larger extinct volcano. The National Parks are internationally recognised 'Important Bird Areas', identified as such by BirdLife International because of its importance in the conservation of several species of threatened birds.
