January 26 is "Survival Day", an important time when the community gathers to celebrate the resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The day serves to acknowledge and reinforce the present and the future of our cultures. Survival Day embodies the reality that Indigenous cultures are strong, with much to be positive about despite the negative effects of colonisation. Like many observances held across Australia, Tandanya's Survival Day will offer free entertainment, stalls, information, workshops and much more. Survival Day is a Free family event sponsored by Port Adelaide/Enfield Council & DASSA - Give Up Smokes For Good. Read more →
