This national panel series brings together environmental law and animal law academics from across Australia to discuss the lessons animal law can learn from environmental law. The series features US environmental law academic, Prof. Randall S. Abate of Florida A&M University College of Law, who will be presenting the outcomes from his recently released book What Can Animal Law Learn From Environmental Law? Professor Abate's presentation will address some of the key topics of the book's coverage, including standing, food law, agricultural practices and climate change, and the need for animal law to establish itself more firmly in international law.
