Christmas cruelty. It is nearing Christmas time yet again and to pay our respects to the animals traditionally seen as "food" consumed at this time, in conjunction with Melbourne Chicken Save we will be holding our rally on behalf of pigs, chickens and turkeys. We are also pleased to announce that Pam Ahern of Edgar's Mission Farm Sanctuary will be joining us as our special guest. Pigs, chickens and turkeys never get to experience life on the "outside", living their whole lives in extreme confinement, within four walls, wallowing in their own filth and fighting (or succumbing to) illness.
