This is a combined event with Coalition for the Protection of Racehorses. Come and join the fun. It's just up the road from Flemington Racecourse. It's much more picnic than protest. It's a family friendly day so all welcome (including animal friends). We'll have C.P.R. flags and banners surrounding the park to alert those going to the Melbourne Cup about the cruelty they are indirectly and unknowingly supporting. There'll be a BBQ and lots of cruelty free food (pancakes, desserts, salad etc). Entry is free! Bring a plate of cruelty free food or some drinks if you can. Otherwise, just turn up. Dress up as well and let's show the racegoers you don't need to go to the races to have a good time. We will be there from 10 am until 3-4 pm, but feel free to come and go as you please. Read more →
