Vegan Outreach is a fantastic animal rights group that hands out leaflets promoting veganism at university campuses and they have recently published a new leaflet, What is Speciesism?, to be used in Australia.

Vegan Outreach coordinators hand out hard-hitting informational booklets to millions of people each year in several countries around the world. Leafleting is one of the most effective ways to move people away from eating animals. It's estimated that 1 in 50 people who get a leaflet will go vegan or vegetarian or drastically reduce their consumption of animal products. Considering the average meat eater will consume 7,000 animals over their lifetime, and that hundreds of leaflets can be handed out in just an hour or two, just a couple of hours of activism could save thousands of animals from being born into a factory farm and killed in a slaughterhouse.
Sam says "Virtually every single day I'm leafleting, people will come back and tell me they're going vegan or vegetarian after receiving a booklet. Leafleting works, it's effective and it's easy. We usually leaflet from 8am until 4pm, although you don't have to stay the whole time, even an hour or two is enough time to hand out a lot of leaflets."
